$15,000 HomeBuilder Grant Extension

In exciting news, the Federal Government recently announced an extension of the HomeBuilder Grant. You can now qualify for a $15,000 HomeBuilder grant if you sign a new build contract between 1 Jan 2021 and 31 March 2021.
This follows a November announcement that you also have six months from the date your contract is signed to commence construction. Previously you needed to have started construction by March, so this gives you more time to plan the building of your home.
More Builders Are Open
This latest HomeBuilder grant extension means that more builders are willing and available to sign build contracts for this extended HomeBuilder grant period.

Contracts can take quite a few weeks to finalise so if you’re reconsidering the grants, you still need to move fast. Note that the usual eligibility criteria for each grant still applies.
