Extension Announced For Government Grants

We’re excited to hear there is an extension for the State and Federal Government grants.  Both building grants have now had their original construction deadline extended.

• To qualify for the Federal Government HomeBuilder Grant of $25,000, you now need to start construction by 30 June 2021.
• To qualify for the State Government Building Bonus of $20,000, you now need to start construction by 31 December 2021.

What this means is that you must have your slab down by these dates to qualify for the grants.

Sign Your Building Contract By 31 December 2020

Your building contract must be signed by 31 December 2020 to qualify for the grants.  This extension mainly gives the builders more time to cope with the increased demand caused by the grants. **UPDATE – the Homebuilder grant is  now extended to contracts signed by March 31, 2021.

Contracts can take quite a few weeks to finalise so if  you’re still looking at the grants, you need to take action now.  Quite a few builders are no longer taking on contracts for the grants, but we’re talking to all of them and we can help you find the right builder who can help you get the grants.

Note that the usual eligibility criteria for each grant still applies.

Titled Land Available

Holland Park still has around 15 titled lots available. Yes, everything at Holland Park has titles so you can move faster on the construction.

But this is our very last land that will ever be available in our stunning, spacious estate.
